The atmosphere was relaxed as the students had finished their summative assessments and spent three hours in setting up the exhibits and allotting duties. Umaben as usual played a crucial part in helping with the displays. The entire school, from Nursery to Grade 4 were invited.
The exhibits ranged from mind maps, energy pyramids, models of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystem, food webs, imbalance of trophic levels, conservation and activities related to the UOI.
The exhibition was attended by all, from the tiny tots to the admin. staff. Time slots were allotted so that there wouldn’t be too many students at the same time.
The students explained the concepts well and some even tried to make it simple for the little ones. For the little ones it was an adventure just to come up to Grade 5 and viewed the exhibits with wonder.
Many visitors had words of appreciation for the students and this boosted their spirits. The exhibition went on for about two hours and ended on a positive note.Gowri Murali
